    Tang Dynasty Glazed Soldier

    618-906 A.D

    Hollow moulded pottery soldier wearing long sleeved amber glazed tunic above baggy trousers. Arms crooked at the elbow with hands held and drilled in order to take hold of standard. Sensitively moulded facial features surmounted by tall leather type cap covering shoulders.

    Excellent glaze remaining.
