    Holy Land Animal Headed Oil Lamp

    7th Century A.D

    Comparatively broad central filling hole with double transverse ribbed edge and decorated rim of radial linear pattern.

    With handle moulded into deer-shaped animal head, and channel area distinguished by two concentric circles with infill circular in outline and three sharply incised vertical lines.
