    Tang Dynasty Sancai Glazed Maiden

    618-906 A.D

    Maiden composition in the round, facing forwards wearing long sleeved sancai-glazed gown with moulded lapels and footring unglazed exposing pale slip.

    Features modelled in low relief, sharp eyes in black pigment, red lips still distinct, head of black hair tightly coiled in elaborate fashion and secured on top of head.
