    Roman Military Horse Trapping

    Roman Empire, 2nd-3rd Century A.D

    Circular disc with quatrefoil shape at centre with alternating tear-drop shapes and reverse heart shapes attached to each extremity.

    Would have constituted part of horse's harness.
