    Byzantine North African Lamp with Rosette

    c. 5th Century A.D

    Round redware lamp with eight tier rosette in raised relief at centre of sunken discus, sloping shoulder with palm branch motif, long tapered channel, rounded nozzle and tall tongue handle.
