    Northern Qi Dynasty Soldier Figure

    A.D 549-577

    Forwards facing soldier figure wearing short sleeved red tunic belted around the middle with wide green lappels over long white trousers. Right arm by side with fist clenched and drilled, left hand concealed behind long shield. Features clearly depicted in black pigment with hair pulled beneath tightly fitting painted black cap.

    Strong colour and characterisation.
