    Tang Dynasty Entertainer Figure

    618-906 A.D

    Orange earthenware with applied white, vermilion, black and red pigment. Superb conditioned entertainer, wears black hooded knee length tunic, belted around the middle with white floral decoration and vermilion lapels over long white trousers, integral plinth. Left arm by side with hand concealed within sleeves of robes, right arm crooked at the elbow, fist clenched and drilled.
