    Large Reliquary Cross

    10th Century AD

    The Virgin orans wearing ornate robes with Greek letters above and crescentic shaped decoration on either side, reverse with incised cross with shallow concentric circles at extremities for original inlay, leaf decoration at corners.

    Still opens, with suspension loop. A fantastic piece, with superb detailing, fully wearable.
