Ancient Figurines, Statues & Attendants

Statues and figurines were created for a vast number of uses. The cultures of Ancient Egypt and China, for instance, were fascinated by the concept of preserving life and perpetuating it after death. Funerary sculptures and attendants were made for both the lower and upper classes. The Ancient Greeks and Romans would use votive figures to supplicate their deities and implore their protection.
