Ancient Musician & Dancer Figurines

A large number of musicians and dancers have been found in ancient tombs from different cultures, especially Chinese culture, suggesting a need for the deceased to be entertained in the afterlife. Their dancing and playing of musical instruments was designed to alleviate their owner’s struggle during his/her journey to, and existence in, the afterlife.
