Kantharos

‘Kantharoi’ were Ancient Greek drinking vessels, most often used to hold wine for ritualistic use or for offerings. As a result of this religious significance, this vessel was an attribute of Dionysus, the god of wine. Kantharoi appear usually decorated with vine motifs, evoking thoughts not only of wine, but also of the god with which it was associated.
