Dionysus
In Ancient Greek mythology, Dionysus was the god of wine, vegetation, fertility and ecstasy, later considered a patron of the arts. The son of Zeus, he is depicted across ancient artefacts whereby frivolity and merrymaking are the essence of the piece.
