In Ancient Roman mythology and culture Victoria was the personified goddess of Victory. She was one of the most popular deities in ancient Rome. As testimony to the cult that the Romans set up for the goddess are the numerous artistic and architectural testimonies dedicated to her. Equivalent of the Greek goddess Nike.
