This amulet depicting a seat or throne is associated with the goddess Isis. More elaborate amulets often feature a goddess with a throne headdress, the symbol forming part of the hieroglyphs representing the goddess’ name. Isis, together with her consort Osiris and son Horus, was closely associated with Royal kingship, and considered the personification of the throne.
