European Bronze Age farmers differed from their stone cutting predecessors. They began to use horses and chariots to work, keep flocks of sheep for woollen clothing, and use bronze as a standard commodity of exchange. Technological develops during this era were rapid: the manufacturing of tools and weapons increased as well as the emergence of specialised equipment for shaving, woodworking, and metalworking. At the same time, advancements in decorative arts were also gaining momentum. Crafters of jewellery, accessories, and other personal adornments utilised the versatility of bronze to explore new styles and forms.
