European Bronze Age Bronze Ring Shaped Pendant with Ribbed Stem

A Beautiful bronze ring-shaped pendant, dating to the European Bronze Age. The main feature is an asymmetric ring shape with a thicker right-hand side. The ribbed stem, topped by a rounded suspension loop, has wider grooves and the raised ribs between are subsequently thinner and extend just over the neck. Both the stem and the ring are gently convex. The back of the pendant is flat and unworked. A lovely smooth patina covers the surface providing a cool green tone to the metal. Around the stem and on the reverse, there are some slightly rougher more vibrant patches of patanation.
