As a result of Alexander’s conquest, Cyprus was freed from Persian rule and permitted to exist as an independent state. Throughout the Hellenistic age, however, Cyprus was fought over by each of Alexander’s successors as a strategically-sound geographical location.

Condition: In fair condition; signs of ageing and encrustations on the surface.
