Framed Mesopotamian Bronze Bilobate Arrowhead

A finely cast Mesopotamian bilobate bronze arrowhead featuring a small ovate-shaped blade. The blade features a slightly raised midrib which extends slightly to form the stem. The short stem leads to a narrow tang which would have been attached to a wooden shaft. Beautiful patination covers the surface.

The arrowhead is mounted in a custom-made frame.

Date: Circa 1800-600 BC
Condition: Very fine condition. Signs of earthy encrustation visible to the surface.
