The precise original purpose of this goat is unclear. It may have been an independent figure, which was dedicated to a sanctuary as an offering. It is more likely, however, that it served as an attachment to a vessel.

Condition: Very fine condition. The plaque itself measures approximately 4.7cm in length; 4.0cm in height.
