An interesting Ancient Roman bronze hasp in the form of a youthful herm figure, with stylised male genitalia adorning the midsection. The back displays a hinged loop at the base, which reveals its function.

Provided with custom-made stand.

Date: Circa 3rd - 4th Century AD
Condition: Fine condition; complete and intact. The figure has an attractive dark olive-green patination throughout.
