A Near Eastern cosmetic pot carved from mottled granite. The vessel possesses a sleek, conical body, concealing a hollow core and thick, reinforced walls. The exterior surface displays variegated striations caused by mineral inflections littered across the surface. The vessel can not stand unaided.
Provenance: Formerly part of Abelita family collection, formed from 1980-2015.
Condition: Fine condition. Minor scratches and earthly encrustations upon surface, as well as small chips to rim of jar.
