Arrowheads are one of the most common weapons used in battles and for hunting, have been recovered across many different ancient cultures inhabiting the Near Eastern regions during the Bronze Age and Iron Age. Assyria was an ancient Mesopotamian civilisation, initially starting off as a city-state before becoming an empire from the 14th to the 7th century BC.  As the Empire expanded across Mesopotamia and the Middle East, Assyrian art began to incorporate the different materials, techniques, and styles of its conquered territories.
