Europa
Europa was the mother of King Minos of Crete. She was abducted by Zeus while he was in the guise of a bull. Tricked, she climbed upon the back of the bull, and Zeus ran to the sea and swam, while carrying her on his back, to Crete.
The continent of Europe is named after her.
